Gary Dale Beck, age 55, of Elwood, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at his home as the result of a house fire. He was born on October 2, 1959 at Lexington, Nebraska to W. Art & Aline O. (Seaman) Beck.

Gary attended Elwood High School and graduated with the class of 1977. He would help around the family farm northeast of Elwood, Nebraska during his high school years. He then married Lisa Kruse and to this union 3 children were born: Garrett, Eric, & Alisha. They would later separate. He would work for a number of years as farm laborer and then at Tyson in Lexington, Nebraska. He worked also for Elk-O-Inc. in Elwood, MRK Trucking, and for Mike Evans with iron salvage. He owned Rumors Bar at Johnson Lake, Nebraska for a few years. He enjoyed his dogs; Bear & Fritzy and his cat; Piglet.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter: Alisha Beck of Holdrege, Nebraska

                                                   Eric Beck of Lincoln, Nebraska

Brother: Steve & wife Virginia Beck of Broken Bow, Nebraska

               Jay & wife Kathy Beck of Elwood, Nebraska

Grandchildren: Karma & Serenity Beck
