Delma M. Sarr-Muldoon, age 77, of Elwood, Nebraska died on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Holdrege, Nebraska. She was born on September 2, 1932 at Lexington, Nebraska to Ray & Ola (Wilson) Sarr.

She grew up in the Lexington, Nebraska area. After her schooling, she moved to Chicago to be near family. She married Jack Muldoon in 1957 at Chicago, Illinois. They would move to California and later to Oregon were she would help take care of the mother. In 1972, she moved to Minden, Nebraska and started working for Becton Dickinson Company of Holdrege, Nebraska. She would later retire in 1995. In 2007, she moved to Rush Creek Apartments in Elwood, Nebraska and then the Elwood Care Center in 2009. She was a very caring person, helping family out whenever she could. She enjoyed her pets and loved children. She was a member of the Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, of Smithfield, Nebraska.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, brothers Dale, Gerald, Gene, Robert, & Darrel Sarr.

She is survived by her Brothers Donald G. Sarr of Elwood, Nebraska

Viewing & visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 10 AM at the Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, 74094 Road 436, at rural Smithfield, Nebraska with Rev. Cathi Braasch, officiating. Interment will be at Elwood Cemetery at Elwood, Nebraska. Elwood Funeral Home of Elwood, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
