Virginia A. Nippert

Virginia A. Nippert, age 81, of Elwood, Nebraska passed away on Monday, January 24, 2020 at her home. She was born at Anaheim, California on February 1, 1939 to Forest H. and Minnie A. (Edwardson) Lee. She graduated from Anaheim High School with the class of 1956. She went on to the Cal State University at Fullerton, were she received graduated with honors with her accounting degree. she went on to work as a Certified Public Accountant in Mission Viejo, California. She moved to Elwood, Nebraska in 2012 to be closer to family. She was baptized in the Lutheran Church. Family was very important to her and dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She always enjoyed her neighbors in Elwood and was always a generous person to everyone she be friended. Virginia is survived by son Richard “Rick” Nippert Jr., of Elwood, Nebraska and daughter Lori Ann and husband Dale Prouty of Bloomington, Illinois. 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother David Lee. No viewing or visitation as cremation was chosen. Memorial service will be Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 1 PM at the Elwood Funeral Home, in Elwood, Nebraska with Rev. Michael Wolff, officiating. Elwood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
